On the main page the site informs visitors that the National Stroke Association will be folding into the American Stroke Association (ASA). The ASA is a division of the American Heart Association (AHA). They state their mission of reducing death and disability from stroke will remain the same. Under the ‘Stroke Resources” tab you can find links to support groups, StrokeSmart Magazine, a stroke helpline, library, newsletters and news, and how to raise awareness of strokes.
